Wildermyth is a game many RPG fans have been waiting for. This character-driven, procedurally-generated tactical RPG offers you the experience of tabletop roleplaying in a single-player mode or online mode with your friends. Every decision you make and every answer you give determines the future of your character and the world surrounding you.
A typical campaign starts with three customizable heroes. However, you can play co-op with up to five players, as the fourth and fifth heroes will join you along the way. Each character has its own unique background story, personality, and appearance. Heroes can form different relationships with each other. During your adventure, you can choose from a wide range of abilities as your hero levels up.
The diversity of characters and their stories lets you drive the adventure in a different direction each time. Your choices and combat skills will determine each hero’s life path. The scenarios are filled with both tough choices and humor. Love, hate, friendship, sacrifice, and shoulder-to-shoulder battling – Wildermyth mixes it all together.
The game features unique and eye-catching artwork. All elements of the game look hand-drawn, which is a nice reference to handmade tabletop RPGs. Ironically, you won’t be able to paper over the tough decisions of the game. While admiring the surroundings, you have to prepare yourself for many challenges and battles.
