Following the events of Endless Legend, this resilient people have left the dying planet of Auriga, searching for a new home. Stranded on Auriga, they survived harsh climates and hostile neighbors. Now, led by Ilona Zolya, the Aurigans continue their quest for a safe haven and traces of their past.
The Vaulters are a scientific and military-focused faction. Their gameplay emphasizes defense and strong population traits for system protection. Their teleport ability allows fleets to quickly traverse the galaxy between Vaulter systems. While peaceful allies, provoking them is unwise.
Vaulter Heroes excel as governors, boosting system defense and scientific output. The expansion also features the return of Opbot DV8 as an unlockable hero. Their ships, reminiscent of old Mezari designs, are durable and heavily defended, boasting strong support capabilities and an exotic module allowing you to board and control enemy vessels. The Sisters of Mercy, a minor faction of warrior clerics, join the Vaulters, fighting for justice and showing no mercy to their foes.
Forge alliances with space pirates! Pay them for special treatment, use them to attack other factions, and even mask your ships as pirates.
