Expedition Zero is an action-adventure game with significant horror and survival elements. It was developed by Enigmatic Machines, as the first title of this studio. The game is similar to remarkable survival games, like The Forest, Chernobylite, or the games from the Metro franchise.
Expedition Zero tells a story of sending a team of the best soviet scientist to explore the mysterious events occurring in Siberian taiga after the fall of a large meteorite turned it into an exclusion zone. But since the first day of their mission, the scientists knew that there was nothing good waiting for them…
The fall of a meteorite is nothing uncommon, but when a few days after you lose a signal from the nearby military base, it looks like something worth checking. Especially, when the locals spread the rumors of bloodthirsty creatures raiding villages. Are you brave enough to analyze these events, discover their source, and find the solution?
In Expedition Zero, you’ll traverse abandoned and still inhabited villages as one of the scientists. Prepare for multiple quests on your way in searching for the truth. Remember to take care of your vitals, like body temperature, food, sleep, and mental health. You’ll also need to take care of the monstrosities, but as you’re an engineer, not a soldier, you’d better think of some hand-made weapons.
