Beyond: Two Souls is a narration-focused action-adventure game created by an appreciated studio – Quantic Dream. The game features two playable protagonists: Jodie Holmes and an incorporeal entity called Aiden. Both characters are linked with a mysterious bond that makes it impossible for Jodie to live a regular life.
Throughout the game, you’ll accompany Jodie growing from adolescence to adulthood. Watch her learn to control Aiden and develop the powers they share. As you might’ve already guessed, Jodie’s life is not ordinary – no family, no home, just a Department of Paranormal Activity and its researchers.
The gameplay of Beyond: Two Souls focuses on interactions between Jodie and Aiden and their surroundings. You’ll easily detect the interactive elements as they are marked with a tiny white dot. On the other hand, while playing as Aiden, you’ll see the world as monochromatic, with potential interactive objects highlighted with colors.
Beyond: Two Souls stars two well-known, incredible voice-actors – Elliot Page as Jodie, and Nathan Dawkins, as a researcher at the Department of Paranormal Activity who acts as girl’s father-figure. The game features a convincing graphic design and an excellent, award-winning soundtrack.
